Nanaimo Parks, Recreation and Culture offers Ballroom Dance classes each year.
Dance Studios
Many people who live in the mid-Vancouver Island area are interested in taking some lessons in ballroom dancing. Whether to brush up on old dance steps, learn something new or just start from scratch, taking dance lessons is a great way to get out on the dance floor and enjoy dancing.
There are several dance studios north of the Malahat (and many more in Victoria and Vancouver) with varying styles of dance and levels of professional qualification. Some of our local dance instructors are listed below. Please contact the instructors directly to arrange lessons or to obtain more detailed information.
The Society provides their names and contact information as a service to those who may be interested, and does not endorse or recommend any one over any other. All of them have been invited by the Society to provide workshops at its dances.
